Kansas City, Kan. • Sanna Nyassi and Collen Warner scored early in the second half, and the Montreal Impact rallied for a testy 2-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night.

Claudio Bieler scored on a penalty kick in first-half stoppage time for Sporting KC, prompting protests from Montreal that ultimately got coach Marco Schallibaum dismissed from the game.

He missed watching Nyassi score the equalizer in the 47th minute, and Warner punching the go-ahead goal past Sporting KC goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen in the 53rd minute.

Crew 1, Dynamo 1 • Federico Higuain's penalty kick in the 69th minute rallied the Columbus Crew to a 1-1 tie against the Houston Dynamo on Saturday night in Columbus, Ohio.

Making his first start, rookie defender Chad Barson drew a foul by Andrew Driver with a cutback on the right side of the box.

Whitecaps 2, Red Bulls 1 • In Harrison, N.J., Kenny Miller scored in the 83rd minute to give Vancouver only its second win in nearly three months.

New York (7-5-4) had its unbeaten streak snapped at seven games. Vancouver (4-4-4) earned its second win since March 9.

Union 1, Toronto FC 1 • In Toronto, Jack McInerney scored in second-half stoppage time to lift Philadelphia to the draw against short-handed Toronto.

McInerney score on a low shot through traffic after some extended pressure from Philadelphia (5-5-5).

Toronto (1-7-6) was playing with just 10 men after 41 minutes and extended its MLS winless streak to 11 matches.
