The Salt Lake Bees, coming off of a road trip where they won four of their last six games, open an eight-game homestand Thursday against Nashville.

First pitch at Spring Mobile Ballpark is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Right-handed starter Kip Wells takes the mound for the Bees. Salt Lake (19-21), third place in the PCL's Pacific Northern Division, rebounded from a five-game losing streak by taking 3 of 4 games at Oklahoma City.

Nashville (10-27) sits in the American Northern basement. The Sounds, last in the 16-team PCL in runs scored, are coming off a four-game Sacramento sweep.

The Bees rank 13th in batting and runs scored. First baseman Efren Navarro leads all Salt Lake hitters with a .324 batting average.
