Fresh off a victory against Colorado Northwestern on Wednesday, the No. 6-ranked Salt Lake Community College softball team (45-9) will face No. 3 seed Southern Nevada (34-25) in round two of Region 18 play on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Twin Falls, Idaho.

The Bruins defeated Colorado Northwestern Community College 5-2 in the first round of Region 18 Tournament.

SLCC sophomore outfielder Malia Campos scored twice in the first three innings and RBI singles from Campos and Williams in the fourth inning would cap off the Bruins' scoring.

Sophomore pitcher MaCauley Flint picked up the win with 10 strikeouts. Campos was also 3-for-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles, three runs scored and one RBI.
