Louisville, Ky. • Top finishers in last weekend's Kentucky Derby and Oaks were fast and clean.

Post-race test results received Tuesday by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission showed no irregularities in the samples taken from money-paying horses in the Oaks and Derby and three other competitors. HFL Sport Science, the KHRC's official laboratory, worked all weekend to expedite test results.

Derby winner Orb, runner-up Golden Soul and show finisher Revolutionary were tested with two other horses from Saturday's premier race at Churchill Downs. Oaks champion Princess of Sylmar, second-place Beholder, third-place Unlimited Budget and another filly were also tested.

KHRC executive director John T. Ward was happy that results were returned quickly, saying in a statement that they give bettors, industry partners and competitors "confidence that these races were conducted with integrity."
