Sandy •Â Real Salt Lake got a 53rd minute goal from Javier Morales to beat Chivas USA 1-0 at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday night.

The goal came off an Alvaro Saborio cross from the right side of the box. Morales, wearing the captain's armband in place of an injured Kyle Beckerman, put his head to the ball and beat Chivas goalie Dan Kennedy.

RSL goalie Nick Rimando made a first-half penalty kick save, the 18th of his career, to keep Salt Lake in the match.
