Wear an ugly sweater and help a family.
Thursday is Ugly Sweater Night at the Salt Lake Bees.
The Bees and The Road Home, a private non-profit social service agency that assists the homeless in northern Utah, encourage fans to wear their ugliest sweater or donate a new or used sweater, jacket, blanket or towel to receive half-priced tickets to the game featuring the Bees and Reno Aces.
Game time is 6:35 p.m.
Volunteers from The Road Home will collect items prior to entry on the home plate plaza and will distribute vouchers for the reduced-priced ticket. Those wearing an ugly sweater are asked to go straight to the box office to obtain a reduced-priced ticket.
The winners of the Ugly Sweater Contest will win $500.
