Utah will go for 90 plays.

Most of the team, save for players with obvious injury, will get reps.

This will be a big scrimmage on Friday for the Utes. Head coach Kyle Whittingham says that it will be a fairly extensive run, with pretty much everyone getting on the field.

"I think it's important for guys to get some work in," Whittingham said. "We are going to get a chance to see where a lot of guys are at."

Thursday's practice featured shoulder pads and helmets only, as the team will be in full pads on Friday. There were scrimmage situations, there were extensive skelly drills, a good chance to judge the progress of the quarterbacks.

"I think the team looked good out there today," Whittingham said. "Guys went hard and they competed. That's what we like to see."
