The Salt Lake Community College men’s basketball topped Eastern Oklahoma State College 86-82 on Tuesday in the opening round of the NJCAA Tournament.
Led by sophomore JuWan Buchanan’s game-high 21 points and five rebounds, the No. 11 seed Bruins shot 47.6 percent and held off a rally attempt by No. 22-seeded EOSC to earn the win.
