Hailey Mandelko of Southern Utah was named as an honorable mention when the Big Sky Conference released its All-Conference team selections Monday.
Mandelko, a 5-foot-8 sophomore guard from Lexington, Neb., led the Thunderbirds (15-15, 9-11) in scoring (11.9) and into the BSC Tournament. Southern Utah plays Northern Colorado at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the first round in Missoula, Mont.

Montana’s Katie Baker, a unanimous First-Team selection, became the ninth Montana player in Big Sky history to earn the league’s Most Valuable Player Award.
First Team • Katie Baker, Montana; Lexie Nelson, Eastern Washington; Kenzie De Boer, Montana; Amy Patton, Northern Arizona; D’shara Strange, Northern Colorado and Kylie Kuhns, Sacramento State.
Second Team • Kaela Oakes, Idaho State; Ashleigh Vella, Idaho State; Lauren Oosdyke, Northern Colorado; Rachel Semansky, Montana State and Courtney VanBrocklin, Portland State.
