TENNIS • Novak Djokovic extended his winning streak to 19 matches with a 6-0, 5-7, 6-2 victory over Fabio Fognini in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open on Sunday in Indian Wells, Calif.
Djokovic, who lost to John Isner in the semifinals here a year ago, held serve for a 5-2 lead in the final set, then had a pair of match points after a crisp forehand to the corner.

Women’s basketball • Amber Orrange capped a career-high 20-point performance scoring on a spinning drive with 8.3 seconds left, and No. 4 Stanford won its seventh straight Pac-12 Conference tournament title rallying past No. 14 UCLA 51-49 in Seattle. Orrange carried the Cardinal while star Chiney Ogwumike struggled through one of the worst games of her career. Ogwumike failed to score over the final 38 minutes of the game and finished with a career-low 3 points.
