Senior Josh Wilson will attempt to duplicate last year NCAA qualifying performance at 149 pounds. He was the lone UVU wrestler to earn a NCAA Championship bid.

This year, senior Wilson (20-8), is ranked at 21st on the final NCAA Coaches’ Panel. Other Wolverines with a chance to make the national competition include 125-pound redshirt freshman Jade Rauser (19-6), who is currently ranked 20th on the same poll, as well as sophomore heavyweight Adam Fager (18-10), who is ranked 33rd.

The Wolverines, 6-4 in duals this season, wound up finishing third in the Western Wrestling Conference.

The 2013 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships will take place March 21-23 at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.
