ECHL hockey: Idaho shuts out Utah Grizzlies

Idaho jumped out to a quick lead, scoring just 1:37 into the game, and blanked the Utah Grizzlies 6-0 in an ECHL game in Boise.

Utah outshot Idaho 36-35, but the Grizzlies couldn’t get past Steelheads goalie Josh Robinson, who earned his second shutout in three games against Utah.

The Grizzlies entered the matchup short-handed, playing with only eight forwards and five defensemen.

Idaho had three straight power-play goals in the win.
