State colleges: Utah baseball loses series finale to UC Davis

Utah baseball lost its finale in the four-game series against UC Davis, falling 10-7 in Davis, Calif. The Utes held an early 3-1 lead, but UC Davis poured in eight runs over a three-inning stretch and took advantage of five Utah errors to win.

Men’s golf

Utah Valley is tied for third place heading into the final round of the Snowman Getaway in Goodyear, Ariz. Mason Casper leads the Wolverines with a 2-over 74 to tie for 10th place.

Men’s basketball

Dixie State 83, Hawaii Pacific 66 • Five Red Storm players scored in double digits for Dixie State’s win in St. George.

Women’s basketball

Hawaii Pacific 79, Dixie State 72 • The Red Storm lost their final home game despite Johnna Brown’s 15th double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
