The Grizzlies attempted to charge back in the second period, outshooting Colorado 14-7, but still were scoreless. James Martin finally broke through for Utah, scoring at the 6:50 mark in the third period off with help from goalie Adam Morrison, who sent the puck to Kory Falite to set up the goal.
But the Eagles scored again five minutes later to seal the win.
