Weber St. golf's Chugg takes first

Weber State's Kelsey Chugg took first place with a 2-under 70 in The Lumberjack at Ocotillo tournament in Chandler, Ariz. The Wildcats finished third in the team standings.

Southern Utah's Sadie Palmer finished tied for second in the tournament, and the Thunderbirds finished fifth overall.

Utah Valley's Jordyn Douglas finished tied for 12th to help the Wolverines finish ninth.


Boise State 29, Utah Valley 10 • The Wolverines won just three of 10 matchups.


Yavapai College 4-9, Salt Lake Community College 3-8 • The No. 17-ranked Bruins lost both of their games in Prescott, Ariz.
