Timm Rosenbach, hired by Weber State on Nov. 21 as offensive coordinator, announced Wednesday he was accepting the same job with UNLV.

"We knew [he was offered the iob] for a couple of weeks," WSU athletic director Jerry Bovee said. "We made a few contingency plans in case it happened. It's too early to say anything."

In 2012, Rosenbach was Montana's offensive coordinator. The Grizzlies were the Football Championship Subdivision's 14th-ranked offense.

Attempts to reach WSU head coach Jody Sears, who must also hire a defensive coordinator, were unsuccessful.

Last season under Sears, the team's defensive coordinator who was later named interim head coach, Weber State (2-9) had the 12th ranked offense and was last in total offense in the 13-team Big Sky Conference.

In 2012, UNLV (2-10) was outscored by more than 10 points a game.
