NFL • It's unanimous, on both sides of the ball.

Vikings 2,000-yard man Adrian Peterson and Texans pass-swatting end J.J. Watt were unanimous choices for The Associated Press All-Pro team announced Saturday.

Peterson, who came within 9 yards of breaking Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record, and Watt, who led the NFL with 201/2 sacks, were selected by all 50 members of a nationwide panel of media members who cover the league.

Peyton Manning made his sixth team, the previous five while quarterbacking Indianapolis. He led Denver to the AFC's best record, 13-3.

• Coach Brian Kelly, who interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles earlier in the week, said Saturday that he is staying at Notre Dame, and his interest with the NFL is over for now. Meanwhile, Philadelphia interviewed Seattle defensive coordinator Gus Bradley in Atlanta.

Locked-out NHL players OK deal

hockey • NHL players are ready to go back to work, but the lockout isn't over yet. After a 36-hour vote that ended Saturday morning, the players' association announced that its members approved the deal reached with the league last week. However, the sides continued to work to complete a difficult memorandum of understanding that must be signed before camps can open and the new schedule to be released.
