Logan • Kyisean Reed provided fireworks that bookended Utah State's 75-66 win over Seattle at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Thursday night.

The Aggies (12-1, 3-0) went on a late 12-2 run to vanquish the Redhawks, bouncing back from an early cold stretch in the second half. Reed, the team's lone senior, led the way with 20 points, including a number of fast-break dunks that fired up a smaller crowd for the team's WAC home opener.

Leading 34-28 at halftime, the Aggies failed to make a field goal for the first eight and a half minutes after intermission. But Preston Medlin and Marcel Davis led the way back, finishing with 18 and 13 points, respectively, while digging Utah State out of a three-point hole.

Reed, who had scored 13 points in the first half, put the finishing touches on the victory with clutch late baskets, rebounds and steals. He had 10 rebounds and two steals.

Deshaun Sunderhaus led all scorers with 23 points.
