Orem • The Utah State basketball team will have to fight to continue its perfect record against Utah Valley.

The Aggies had to come from behind to take a 36-32 halftime lead on the road against the Wolverines. Hot shooting carried Utah Valley to an early advantage, but a zone cooled them down before intermission at UCCU Center.

Kyisean Reed leads the Aggies with eight points, and every player who has checked in for Utah State has scored. The Aggies also had a 15-10 rebounding edge at halftime, and had held leading UVU scorer Ben Aird scoreless. In the paint, Utah State was dominating with an 18-8 scoring edge.

The Wolverines set the early tempo by stretching the floor and going 5 for 13 on 3-point shooting. Alfonzo Hubbard also drew some fouls to help boost UVU's lead, scoring 14 points in the first half.
