Las Vegas • Spanish Fork's Clint Robinson is warming up.

Robinson tied for first place with Ryan Jarrett of Comanche, Okla., in tie-down roping Tuesday night during Round 6 of the $6.1 million Wrangler National Finals Rodeo at the Thomas & Mack Center.

In the fourth National Finals of his career — but the first since 2009 — Robinson was timed in 7.2 seconds and earned $16,343. After a slow start, he has made $47,558 over the last four rounds.

Other Utahns also fared well in the sixth round.

Kaycee Feild of Payson and Caleb Bennett of Morgan were part of a foursome that tied for second place in bareback.

Along with Steven Peebles of Redmond, Ore., and Bobby Mote of Stephenville, Texas, Feild and Bennett finished with identical scores of 82.5 points. They earned $9,422.

Feild, who went over $1 million in career earnings, remains atop the average standings. Through six rounds of the NFR, he has pocketed $59,427.

In saddle bronc, Milford brothers Cody Wright finished third, Jesse Wright ended up fourth and Jake Wright did not place.

Cody Wright posted a score of 82.5. He earned $10,895, increased his NFR bankroll to $35,924 and remains third in the average.

Jesse Wright scored an 81.5, which was worth $7,656.

In other events, bull rider Tag Elliott of Thatcher did not finish his eight-second ride, Lehi's Tom Lewis did not post a time in steer wrestling and Kelli Tolbert of Hooper ended up out of the money in barrel racing with a time of 23.74. —
