Mariners, Rockies to play exhibition in Salt Lake

Major League Baseball fans in Salt Lake City will get a chance to view a game up close in March.

Spring Mobile Ballpark will host the Seattle Mariners’ final spring training game March 30. The Mariners will take on the Colorado Rockies at 1:05 p.m., according to a release by the Mariners.

Baseball fans are accustomed to watching rising stars or rehabbing players compete at the Triple A level for the Salt Lake Bees, but this will be an opportunity to witness first-hand the big-leaguers in major league uniforms.
