Golf • Top-ranked Rory McIlroy and No. 2 Luke Donald share the lead with Marc Warren after the second round of the Dubai World Championship.

Donald joined McIlroy and Warren at 11-under 133 after his approach shot came within a foot of the hole on the 18th and he made the birdie putt for a 4-under 68.

Vonn to ski giant slalom, skip slalom

winter sports • Lindsey Vonn says she's healthy enough to race in one of the two World Cup races this weekend in Aspen.

The four-time overall champion will compete in the giant slalom Saturday, but skip the slalom Sunday.

Vonn recently returned to training after missing time with an intestinal issue that landed her in the hospital.

• Steven Holcomb extended his season-opening winning streak to three in World Cup two-man bobsled racing Friday night in Whistler, British Columbia.

Holcomb, from Park City, and push athlete Steve Langton had a two-run time of 1 minute, 45.26 seconds.

• Noelle Pikus-Pace returned to the skeleton circuit after a brief retirement, finishing sixth in a World Cup race in Whistler, British Columbia. The former world champion from Orem was the top American finisher.
