Jennifer Flynn's late goal lifted the Utah State women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Seattle in a Western Athletic Conference tournament semifinal Friday in Logan.

With an assist from Mari Miyashiro, Flynn sent a 10-yard shot just inside the right post with 1:09 remaining.

Natalie Norris scored a penalty-kick goal in the 65th minute to give USU (12-2-6) a 1-0 lead before Seattle tied the scored in the 83rd.

The Aggies will face Denver at 1 p.m. Sunday for the WAC title.

Utah 1, Colorado 1 • In Boulder, Colo., Harley Spier scored her team-best fifth goal of the year, and the Utes (8-8-3, 3-7-1 Pac-12) finished their season with a draw.

Idaho State 1, Weber State 1 (Idaho State wins 4-3 on penalty kicks) • In Pocatello, Idaho, the Wildcats took a 1-0 lead on Chansi Crompton's goal in the 57th minute, but the Bengals rallied for the shootout victory in the Big Sky Conference tournament semifinal.

Women's basketball

Utah State 81, New Mexico Highlands 72 • In Logan, Devyn Christensen scored 32 points, and the Aggies cruised to the exhibition win after leading 51-30 at halftime.

BYU 79, Dixie State 57 • In Provo, Haley Steed scored 15 points to lead four Cougars in double figures in the exhibition victory.

Gillette 80, SLCC 76, OT • In Casper, Wyo., Diamond Marchand led Salt Lake Community College with 18 points, but the Bruins lost their season opener after Gillette hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to force overtime.

Women's volleyball

Montana State 3, Weber State 2 • In Ogden, Briana Wilms led the Wildcats with 12 kills, but the Bobcats rallied to win the Big Sky Conference match 22-25, 25-15, 18-25, 25-19, 15-8.

North Idaho 3, SLCC 1 • In Twin Falls, Idaho, Mayra Ramirez had 20 kills for Salt Lake Community College, but the Bruins' season ended with a 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 26-24 loss in the Region 18 tournament.
