Spokane, Wash. • Jennifer Hamson had 12 kills and Tia Withers tallied 11 digs as No. 18 BYU capitalized on 28 Gonzaga attack errors in a 25-21, 25-16, 25-22 victory in West Coast Conference volleyball Thursday night.

Alexa Gray pounded out nine kills and Heather Hannemann had a match-high 36 assists for the Cougars (20-2, 8-2), who play at Portland on Saturday.

Utah State 3, UT Arlington 0 • In Logan, Rachel Orr had a match-high 17 kills as the Aggies increased their lead in the Western Athletic Conference with a 25-23, 27-25, 25-19 win.

Paige Neves tallied 41 assists and Josselyn White had 13 digs for USU (16-7, 11-2).

BYU 4, San Diego 1 • In San Diego, Cloee Colohan scored two goals as the No. 5 Cougars improved to 14-1-1 with a convincing win in West Coast Conference play.

Arizona State 4, Utah 1 • In Tempe, Ariz., Kaycee Buckley scored in the second half for the Utes (8-6-2, 3-5 Pac-12).
