BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall spoke to reporters after the Cougars' practice on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012. Mendenhall provided an update on quarterback Riley Nelson, and looked ahead to Friday's game against Utah State.

Mendenhall talked about the future of the rivalry, saying he would like to continue playing the Aggies on a two-for-one basis, but understands how Utah State would like the series to be home-and-home.

The coach also gave the status of several injured players, including running back Adam Hine, running back Mike Alisa and tight end Richard Wilson.
