Utah State quarterback Chuckie Keeton has been named the Western Athletic Conference's offensive player of the week after throwing all over UNLV in the Aggies' 35-13 win on Saturday.

The sophomore was 21-for-34 on the day, through a career-high 402 yards and four touchdowns. The yardage was the most by a Utah State quarterback since 2002.

San Jose State's Travis Johnson and Louisiana Tech's Matt Nelson were the WAC's top defensive player and special teams player, respectively.

Other Aggies were nominated for weekly honors: Junior linebacker Jake Doughty was a finalist for defensive player of the week, and senior punter Tyler Bennett was a nominee for special teams.
