Jacksonville, Fla. • Andy Dalton, A.J. Green and a stingy defense spoiled what was supposed to be a celebratory day for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Dalton threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score, and the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Jaguars 27-10 Sunday for their third consecutive win.

Dalton and Green burned Jacksonville several times, including once to set up a second-quarter touchdown and again for a fourth-quarter score.

The Bengals (3-1) finished with six sacks, putting constant pressure on Blaine Gabbert and overcoming all those defensive injuries.

Cincinnati played without starting cornerbacks Nate Clements and Leon Hall as well as backups Jason Allen and Dre Kirkpatrick.

The Jaguars (1-3) failed to take advantage.

Gabbert completed 23 of 34 passes for 186 yards, with a touchdown and an interception. He was clearly outplayed by fellow second-year quarterback Dalton, who completed 20 of 31 passes for 244 yards.

Dalton, Green (six catches for 117 yards) and the defense ruined Jacksonville's "Alumni Weekend," which featured Fred Taylor's induction into the team's ring of honor.

It also was the franchise's final home game wearing teal as its primary jersey color.

After that performance, the Jaguars might want to burn those tops.

More than 30 former Jaguars, including Kyle Brady, Mark Brunell, Fernando Bryant, Donovin Darius, Mike Hollis, Keenan McCardell and Marcus Stroud, were on hand for Taylor's induction.

They left disappointed.

Midway through the fourth quarter, and with heavy rain starting to fall, most of the home crowd already had hit the exits, too.

The Bengals outgained Jacksonville 382-212.

The Jaguars got off to a terrible start for the second consecutive week. They trailed 14-3 last week at Indianapolis before Maurice Jones-Drew dug them out of the hole.

This time, they were down 17-7 at halftime thanks to missed opportunities, a huge special teams error and the first of several Dalton-to-Green passes.

Linebacker Kyle Bosworth intercepted Dalton's first pass of the game and was headed toward the end zone when he fumbled without being touched.

The Bengals got the ball back and put together a 74-yard drive that ended in a field goal.

Jacksonville's Rashean Mathis also dropped what could have been an easy interception on the drive. On the ensuing third down play, rookie Antwon Blake was flagged for hitting Dalton low after a pass. So instead of punting, Cincinnati kept driving.

The Jaguars responded and took a 7-3 lead on Gabbert's 2-yard TD pass to Marcedes Lewis. Jacksonville's defense responded with consecutive stops, but then Bengals coach Marvin Lewis used a fake punt to turn the momentum.

Cedric Peerman took the direct snap and gained 48 yards. Dalton found Chris Pressley for a 1-yard score and a 10-7 lead a few plays later.

Dalton found Green for a 42-yard gain on Cincinnati's next drive, a perfectly thrown ball over Mathis that set up Dalton's 1-yard plunge just before halftime.

Clearly, the Bengals figured out something there because Dalton and Green hooked up several more times in the second half.

Cincinnati looked as if it would seal the victory early in the third, but BenJarvus Green-Ellis fumbled at the goal line, and the Jaguars recovered. Gabbert was sharp on the ensuing drive, but Jacksonville settled for a field goal. Dalton connected with Green for an 18-yard score on the third play of the fourth quarter, giving the Bengals plenty of cushion against Jacksonville's struggling offense. Bengals-Jaguars Stats
