No. 1 Alabama 40, Florida Atlantic 7

Tuscaloosa, Ala. • AJ McCarron threw three touchdown passes, including an early 85-yarder to Kenny Bell, and No. 1 Alabama routed Florida Atlantic.

Eddie Lacy rushed for 106 yards in the first half for the Crimson Tide, which rolled to 134 consecutive points and two shutouts before allowing a late touchdown.

The only suspense late was whether Alabama could complete a third straight shutout for the first time since Bear Bryant's unbeaten 1966 team. No. 1 Alabama (4-0) beat Florida Atlantic 40-7.

No. 2 LSU (4-0) beat Auburn 12-10.

No. 3 Oregon (4-0) beat No. 22 Arizona 49-0.

No. 4 Florida State (4-0) beat No. 10 Clemson 49-37.

No. 5 Georgia (4-0) beat Vanderbilt 48-3.

No. 6 Oklahoma (2-1) lost to No. 15 Kansas State 24-19.

No. 7 South Carolina (4-0) beat Missouri 31-10.

No. 8 West Virginia (3-0) beat Maryland 31-21.

No. 9 Stanford (3-0) did not play.

No. 10 Clemson (3-1) lost to No. 4 Florida State 49-37.

No. 11 Notre Dame (4-0) beat No. 18 Michigan 13-6.

No. 12 Texas (3-0) did not play.

No. 13 Southern Cal (3-1) beat California 27-9.

No. 14 Florida (4-0) beat Kentucky 38-0.

No. 15 Kansas State (4-0) beat No. 6 Oklahoma 24-19.

No. 16 Ohio State (4-0) beat UAB 29-15.

No. 17 TCU (3-0) beat Virginia 27-7.

No. 18 Michigan (2-2) lost to No. 11 Notre Dame 13-6.

No. 19 UCLA (3-1) lost to Oregon State 27-20.

No. 20 Louisville (4-0) beat FIU 28-21.

No. 21 Michigan State (3-1) beat Eastern Michigan 23-7.

No. 22 Arizona (3-1) lost to No. 3 Oregon 49-0.

No. 24 Boise State (2-1) beat BYU 7-6, Thursday.

No. 25 Nebraska (3-1) beat Idaho State 73-7.
