Technically Utah coach Kyle Whittingham isn't giving injury reports, but he did tell media members that running back John White didn't practice Tuesday. However, the Utes maintain White, who missed the BYU game with an ankle injury, will be ready to go by Saturday. "We are making sure we get him feeling exactly right," Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said. White said watching the BYU game was difficult. "Your senior year it's hard to miss any game," he said. "I tried to take a new role and pump up these guys." White said he was 'fine," but of course he said he was 100 percent last week. The good news is safety Eric Rowe, who missed the BYU game with a hamstring injury, seemed to be running fine Tuesday. Safety Brian Blechen was a popular interview Tuesday since he will play for the first time this year Saturday. Blechen, who was suspended for three games for breaking team rules, said he is eager to get back on the field. "It was only three games and we have nine games left, but each week felt like a month," Blechen said. Whittingham isn't too worried Blechen will be rusty on Saturday. "He stayed in shape and did all the things he needed to," he said. "Obviously it will be very good to have him back." - Lya Wodraska
