Had it not been for Kellen Bartlett's offensive pass interference, Utah State would've taken a shot or two at the endzone on the final drive.

That's what Gary Andersen said following Utah State's 16-14 loss to Wisconsin on Saturday night.

Instead, the penalty yardage forced the Aggies to settle for a 37-yard field goal attempt from Jpsh Thompson which went wide in Utah State's attempt at a huge upset.

The little things are what this program is still missing. The Aggies have an offense capable of being explosive. The defense is as good as its ever been.

But penalties, and missed assignments, the little things, are continually costing USU wins. And the special teams has and continues to be a big issue.

The Aggies could've and probably should've won this game. Defensively, Wisconsin could do very little with USU. But Utah State's special teams play was horrid at the wrong time. And it ultimately cost the Aggies a win in a big spot.
