Weber State's John Coyle and Amber Henry have been named cross country runners of the week in the Big Sky Conference.

Both runners won their divisions at the Utah State Invitational in Logan last Saturday.

The 2011 conference champion, Henry covered the 3.1-mile course in 17 minutes and 14.43 seconds to lead the Wildcats to the women's team victory. Coyle ran a 4-mile course in 18:45.91, leading the WSU men to second place.

Coyle is a senior from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho — he shared his award with Northern Arizona's Brian Shrader — while Henry is a junior from Mountain View, Wyo.

The Wildcats race next at the Montana State Invitational in Bozeman on Sept. 15.
