Unable to reach a deal with DirecTV, the Pac-12 Network has issued an open letter to fans recommending they switch to another television provider.

Pac-12 Networks will televise 15 nonconference games and 20 Pac-12 football games this season, starting tonight with Northern Colorado and Utah at 5:15 p.m.

"If you’re one of the fans who won’t be satisfied without Pac-12 football, or our more than 135 men’s basketball games and hundreds of other live events, we recommend finding Pac-12 Networks with another television provider," the letter says.

The network will open its coverage Thursday with three games: Northern Colorado at Utah, UCLA at Rice, and Northern Arizona at Arizona State.
