Cheyenne,Wyo. • Two Utah cowboys cashed big paychecks for their performances in the $821,600 Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, which concluded Sunday.

Kaycee Feild, the reigning world bareback champion from Payson, earned $11,496. He tied for first place in the opening round, tied for second in the finals and tied for second in the average.

In saddle bronc, Jesse Wright of Milford pocketed $6,809. He tied for second in the second round, tied for fourth in the final round and finished third in average.

Two Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association-sanctioned events are scheduled in Utah this week.

The Deseret Peak Stampede will be held Thursday and Friday in Tooele. The Mountain Valley Stampede is scheduled Friday and Saturday in Heber City.
