USU will see plenty of games at home

Utah State's nonconference schedule is headlined by a home game against West Coast Conference champion St. Mary's and a road game at BYU.

In between, expect a lot of wins for the Aggies, who will face teams like Idaho State, Weber State and Texas A&M Corpus-Christi at the Spectrum.

Santa Clara will represent the only time in nonconference play that USU leaves the state for a game.

The schedule also has a few homecomings attached. Former Aggie James Walker, who left the program two years ago, will make his return to the Spectrum with St. Mary's.

Former USU assistant James Ware is on Santa Clara's bench. And of course, Randy Rahe, a longtime Morrill assistant, is Weber State's head coach.

Utah State's longest road trip is three games. The Aggies will enter the season as WAC favorites, along with New Mexico State and Louisiana Tech. —
