PCL baseball: Salt Lake beats Tacoma 3-2

Robinzon Diaz hit a two-run homer, and Matt Shoemaker pitched seven strong innings as the Salt Lake Bees won their third straight Pacific Coast League game, beating the host Tacoma Rainiers 3-2 on Saturday.

Shoemaker (5-5) held Tacoma to two runs (one earned) on six hits over seven innings to earn the win. Salt Lake's Adam Heether drove in Matt Long on a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning for the winning run.
