Weber State unveils 2012 football schedule

Three of Weber State's five home football games in 2012 will be played under the lights at Stewart Stadium, including the home opener Sept. 15 when the Wildcats host McNeese State at 6 p.m.

Weber State announced its football schedule for the upcoming season, including games at BYU and Southern Utah.

WSU's Big Sky Conference home opener is Sept. 22 against Eastern Washington, also beginning at 6 p.m. The Wildcats host Cal Poly on Oct. 5, their first game played on a Friday, home or away.

Weber State's home schedule concludes with Montana on Nov. 3 and Northern Colorado on Nov. 10. Both games begin at 1:30 p.m.

The Wildcats open the 2012 season Sept. 1 at Fresno State. Game time is still to be determined. On Sept. 8, Weber State heads to Provo for a 1 p.m. game that will be televised on BYUtv.

On Oct. 20, the Wildcats play at Southern Utah for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Weber State's road schedule also includes new Big Sky member UC Davis on Sept. 29; at Sacramento State on Oct. 13; and at Idaho State on Nov. 17.
