Turbin, USU’s best running back in a decade, was drafted on Saturday in the fourth round by the Seattle Seahawks with the 106th overall selection, the same team that picked Wagner in Friday’s second round.
Turbin will initially serve as a complement to Marshawn Lynch, one of the better running backs in the league. It’s the first time two Aggies have been taken in the same draft in more than 20 years.
Turbin is the third local player selected in the draft. Utah’s Tony Bergstrom was taken with the final pick in the third round Friday night by the Oakland Raiders.
