As expected, ESPN 700 Sports Radio has confirmed that former Jazz all-star Karl Malone will do a weekly segment on "The Bill Riley Show."

It wasn't exactly a secret after the station issued a press release last week declaring that it has signed "the most prominent athlete in Utah's professional sports history."

A two-time NBA MVP and a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, Malone is scheduled to appear Wednesdays from 4-6 p.m. in a segment titled "Through My Eyes."

According to the station's general manager, John Kimball, Malone has signed a one-year contract and has committed to being in ESPN 700's studios at least once a month.

The station is also setting up a studio for him in his Louisiana home.

Malone will take questions from the station's Facebook page and, eventually, take questions from caller.
