The Arena Football League has announced Utah Blaze quarterback Tommy Grady has earned the league's offensive player of the week award after leading the team to a victory over Jacksonville last Friday.
Coming off a bye week, Grady went 29-for-38 for 325 yards and 10 passing touchdowns. He also scored a rushing touchdown in the 75-67 road win. After a turnover-prone game against New Orleans, the Blaze offense improved to score on all of its possessions.
The award is the second this season for a Utah player, since wideout Aaron Lesue earned it for his performance against San Jose. Defensive end Caesar Rayford also earned a defensive player of the week award against Iowa.
