The Utes said goodbye to one more key basketball player this week. Junior forward Dijon Farr became the sixth Ute to be released from his scholarship since the season ended less than a month ago, The Tribune learned Thursday.

Farr's departure means the Utes now have two scholarships available for next season to bolster the six-player class first-year coach Larry Krystkowiak has already built.

Farr averaged 6.7 points and 4.8 points for the Utes, while starting 24 games.

A native of Pacolet, S.C., Farr joined the Utes after spending two seasons at Indian Hills Community College. He scored a season-high 16 points twice: in a win over Idaho State and in a loss at Oregon State.
