Utah State’s women’s basketball head coach Raegan Pebley was named the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Region 7 Coach of the Year, one of eight head coaches to earn regional coach of the year honors along with Muffet McGraw of Notre Dame, Brenda Frese of Maryland, Tom Collen of Arkansas, Curt Miller of Bowling Green, Kim Mulkey of Baylor, Coquese Washington of Penn State and Tara VanDerveer of Stanford.
The second annual WBCA Division I National Coach of the Year award will be given during the second annual awards show April 2, in Denver. This event is part of the WBCA National Convention and is held in conjunction with the NCAA® Women’s Final Four®.
