Westminster's trip to the women's NAIA tournament ended with a second-round knockout.

Top-seeded Oklahoma City surged to a 76-47 victory over the Griffins on Friday in Frankfurt, Ky., with a second-half surge that Westminster could not contain.

Both teams struggled at the start, managing only a combined 14 points over the opening nine minutes. Then the Stars unleashed a 12-2 run led by Dietra Caldwell, and Oklahoma City never looked back.

Westminster fell to 23-9 in its season finale. The Stars improved to 32-1 and will play defending national champion Azusa Pacific on Saturday. Westminster, which shot just 30 percent, was led by Nicole Yazzie's 10 points. She was the only Griffin in double figures.

Tiffany Goldwire led Oklahoma City with 17 points.
