The Westminster Griffins will play the national scoring leader and Belhaven University of Mississippi on Wednesday, in the first round of the NAIA women’s basketball tournament in Frankfort, Ky.

Tip-off is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. MST.
The winner will meet either No. 1 seed Oklahoma City or Our Lady of the Lake University of Texas in the second round of the tournament.
The 15th-ranked Griffins are 22-8 and making their sixth straight appearance in the national tournament after winning the Frontier Conference regular-season title. The Belhaven Blazers are 26-6 and making their second straight tourney appearance, after winning the Southern States Athletic Conference tournament.
The 17th-ranked Blazers have won six straight games and 14 of their last 15 behind Regena Jackson, who led the nation by scoring 24.3 points per game.
