Utah 7, Seattle University 0 • The No. 59 Utes shut out Seattle in Salt Lake City on Thursday. Freshman Slim Hamza stretched his match-winning streak to four, and Dmytro Mamedov and Devin Lane extended their winning streak to seven. The Utes overall are 41-13.

Boise State 6, Utah State 1 • The Aggies lost to No. 35 Boise State in Logan, with their only point scored by Nate Ballam in singles play. USU's Sven Poslusny and Marcus Fritz started as the No. 1 team, but they and two other Aggie pairs were defeated.

Swimming and diving

The Utah men's swimming and diving team broke two school records on the second day of the Pac-12 Championships. Ken Tiltges set a new record in the 200 IM, and the Utes' four-man team set another record in the 200 free relay. Utah sits at fifth in the competition with 114 points. Stanford leads with 324.5.

Women's tennis

The Cougars were shut out 7-0 in College Station, Texas, against No. 23 Texas A&M. Senior Megan Price fell to Texas A&M's No. 4-ranked Cristina Sanchez-Quinanar, and the Aggies' No. 86 Wen Sun beat BYU freshman Morgan Anderson, 6-1, 6-4 in singles.

Softball

SDSU 1, BYU 0

The Cougars lost in San Diego after the Aztecs scored a run in the bottom of the seventh. Alexandra Hudson and Katie Manuma had BYU's only extra base hits.
