In other games:

North Summit 40, Richfield 38 » After three quarters of back-and-forth basketball, the game came down to crucial, late-game free throws, which North Summit made and Richfield didn’t.

Richfield had a chance to tie the game up with 5.9 seconds to go on when North Summit was given a technical foul for calling timeout with no timeouts remaining. However, both shots went begging and the Braves advanced to Friday’s semifinal matchup with Beaver.

Richfield was led by Megan Bean, who scored a game-high 16 points. Fellow Wildcat Sloane Roundy joined Bean in double figures, as she scored 11. North Summit had no players in doubles.

The Wildcats will play Gunnison Friday in the consolation bracket.

North Sevier 40, Kanab 32 » A big third-quarter run did the trick for the North Sevier Wolves, giving them and edge they would not relinquish.

Kelsey Barney was the only player in double figures, scoring 13 for the Wolves, including one 3-pointer.
