Boise, Idaho • The Utah Grizzlies beat the Idaho Steelheads 4-3 in a shootout Wednesday night.
The Grizzlies went ahead 1-0 on a short-handed goal by Logan MacMillan, and Mitch Wahl scored his 14th goal of the year for a 2-0 Utah lead after the first period. Colin Vock made it 3-1 for the Grizzlies in the third period, but Idaho responded with two third-period goals to force overtime.
