Cedar City • Southern Utah University’s Jeff Evans has been named The Summit League’s male golfer of the week.
He won the initial award of the season, the seventh of his career, by firing a two-round 142 and finishing in a tie for fourth place at the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational. The senior’s effort helped his team to a second-place finish. It was also his third top-five finish in six tournaments this season.
