While college and professional basketball dominate sports on television Wednesday night, hockey fans should also find something to watch.

Utah Jazz fans can watch the Utah at Minnesota Timberwolves’ game at 6 p.m. on ROOT sports in the only local contest on the air.

Other televised NBA games, both on ESPN, include the Los Angeles Lakers at defending champion Dallas at 7:30 p.m. and Oklahoma City hosting Boston at 5 p.m.

There are some interesting college basketball games scheduled on ESPN2. The night opens with No. 20 Notre Dame hosting West Virginia at 5 p.m. followed by No. 4 Kansas at Texas A&M at 7 p.m. and UC Santa Barbara at Long Beach State at 9 p.m.

Non-basketball fans might want to check out the Los Angeles at Colorado National Hockey League contest at 7 p.m. on NBCSN.
