The Utah baseball team rallied to push Monday’s game to 10 innings, but fell 9-8 to UC Davis in the last of a four-game series in Davis, Calif. UC Davis was up 5-0 after two innings.

Women’s basketball
IPFW 70, Southern Utah 60 • IPFW outshot SUU 50 percent to 36 percent in Fort Wayne, Ind. Andrea Jones led the Thunderbirds with 16 points.
Women’s golf
The BYU Cougars ended the first day of the UNLV Rebel Invitational in Las Vegas in 11th place. Maggie Yuan led BYU at 6 over — good for a tie for 17th.
Softball
SUU beat Utah State in both games of their doubleheader, 9-3 and 7-2, in St. George.
