Logan • The 3-pointers are falling for Utah State, and the Aggies are rebounding well against New Mexico State.
But USU still trails NMSU 38-33 at the half in the Spectrum.

In many instances, New Mexico State’s length and athleticism have been way too much for Utah State to handle. In a game of runs, NMSU’s 11-0 spurt sent a loud statement to end the half. 6-foot-9 small forward Bandja Sy came up huge for New Mexico State off the bench, scoring 11 points and hitting a trio of threes.
Utah State has 10 points from sophomore forward Danny Berger, and are making shots. But the Aggies went cold from the perimeter at the worst possible time.
